Past Events

This is how our journey in the world of Trail race began. This was our 1st Trail race event of 15k distance and had 52 Male and 6 Female Participants. We invited Mira Rai on this event as the Chief Guest and Honored her with cash amount of rs. 50,000 to encourage her on her journey of trail Running.

This race "The Rani Band Run"marked the 2nd race of the series. We offered 7K Fun Run and 20K Competition run for the runners to test the training. We had 51 male and 8 female participants in this trail race.

This race really brought the heat to the runners. We were able to build enough hype for the trail race, that on this event we had 80 Male and 30 female participants to come to be part of the event. This was the glory we as an organizer sought for; A Trail running event, full of trail running enthusiasts. 

To make National Paddy Day a day for trail runners to have some fun without having to worry about the competition, we held this race of 7K. We had 75 male participants and 25 female participants on this race event. This event was an event full of joys, to remind trail runners sometime we just run for FUN and enjoy life.

On Nov 24th, 2018 we held the grand finale of POKHARA TRAL RACE SERIES, " Panchase 55K". All of the hard work for us as an organizer and the runners who participated in all of our other races to compete and train for the final race, this was it. Along with 55k Competition race, we also organized 15K race to encourage new trail runners to the scene. We had a total of 45 Male and 15 Female participants join this race to make it a grand success.

Due to COVID-19 and other factors, PTRS was absent from the trail running scene for close to 5 years. That was it for us as an organizer, as we had made a promise the opening this ORG, that we will contribute to the development of the trail running sports in Nepal. Hence with much discussion we organized the 2nd edition of Panchase 55K. With short notice to trail runners, we were able to have 60 runners in total, out of which 36 ran 55K competition race; and 24 ran 7K FunRun.

This race was an awareness/introduction race to the locals and a professional race for the trail runners to gain ITRA points and create a UTMB profile. Just for Rs. 100 entry fee, all participants received finisher's T-shirt, 25k runners got ITRA 2 points, UTMB profile created, Lunch and most importantly a peak into the trail running world. 

OTC- Panchase ULTRA offered ITRA points and created a UTMB profile for participants to run this event. The winners of the 55k distance were given full sponsorship to go take part in Doi Inthanon Thailand 2023 by UTMB. Priya Rai and Bed Sunuwar took part in this Asia Major event presented by UTMB.
